The traditional Finnish sauna is a wood-lined room with a heat source piled high with hot stones. Water is tossed onto the rocks creating steam or "Löyly."

It is typically recommended to rinse off prior to taking sauna. While clothes are optional, this depends completely on the company you're with and many chose to wrap in a towel. The ideal temp is around 212 degrees F. Stay in the hot room until you build up a nice sweat, then either take a cold plunge or jump into the snow! Repeat as many times as desired. End the sauna with a shower or rinse and wait to dress until you're no longer perspiring. 

No worries!  We will provide a demonstration on how to safely and correctly light your sauna as well as how to properly shut down the sauna once you are finished. A video is also available on our FB page. 

Yes! Below are discounted prices for extended sauna rentals. Please keep in mind that preference will be given to longer reservation requests. Additionally, 2+ overnight rental  required for major holidays including New Years Eve/ Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve/ Day.

Delivery is free within a 12-mile radius of Grand Rapids. Thereafter, there is a $5/ mile delivery fee. Sauna rentals greater than 30 miles from downtown Grand Rapids will require a minimum of a 2-night rental. 

We have gone to great lengths to provide almost everything for your sauna! This includes the firewood, soap, and water to get the perfect Löyly. You may want sandals to wear to/ from the sauna, extra towels (we provide 4), fresh drinking water, and bathing suits.
